Our 3nd annual T-Rex event was held on Saturday March 7th, 2026 and it was a great day.  The day started inauspiciously with rain falling, but it let up in time, and the skies brightened. The day was mild and the snow was perhaps not prime, but definitely skiable. With a total of 108 skiers, (61 of them kids!), participation was up from last year. Skiers ranged in age from 3 to 77, and it was great to see such a great turnout from the Kamloops Nordic community. The T-Rex was once more on the loose, and kids were sprinting across the finish narrowly escaping capture. There were smiles and high fives all around, and a grand total of 1414 kms was skied in the 3 hour event. Once again we are grateful for the support of our sponsors and the SPR events team.
